Our Story

Iron Shift Coffee was founded from nearly three decades of experience in fire and emergency medical services, but the community it represents is much larger than any single profession.

Coffee has always been part of shift life. It is there before the day begins, during the long hours when focus matters most, and around the table when coworkers become family. We created Iron Shift Coffee to honor that experience with fresh-roasted coffee built around the shifts people actually work.

Our roots are in fire and emergency medical services, but the Iron Shift community is larger than any single profession. It includes firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, law-enforcement officers, nurses, physicians, dispatchers, construction crews, transportation workers, utility teams, and everyone else who understands what it means to work the shift.

Every roast is named for the schedules that shape that life—from the steady rhythm of a 12-hour shift to the long haul of 24/48 and 48/96.

Iron Shift Coffee is more than coffee. It is recognition for the people who show up, stay ready, and keep moving when others are counting on them.
